Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko (Ukrainian: Тара́с Григо́рович Шевче́нко ), also known as Kobzar Taras, or simply Kobzar (a kobzar is a bard in Ukrainian culture), was a Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, folklorist and ethnographer. His literary heritage is regarded to be the foundation of modern Ukrainian literature and, to a large extent, the modern Ukrainian language though it is different from the language of his poems. Shevchenko is also known for his many masterpieces as a painter and an illustrator.
There are three types of the little size, 7 inch (1:12) doll available - doll with ring (as Christmas tree toy), finger puppet (create your own puppet show theater), doll on pedestal (bookshelf or desktop decor).
Designed, sewn and hand painted, each doll is a one-of-a-kind art piece and each rendition is slightly different.

If you want to make a custom (personalized) order, please contact me using the “custom order” button below any listing, or “ask a question” button at the right upper side of the page. Please send me 3 photos and describe your wishes regarding the execution of the order. Please note that I am in Ukraine and it may take me about 24 hours to reply because of the time difference. When your order will be ready, the doll's photos will be sent to you before shipment.
The doll will be ready within 7-10 days.

All purchases will be shipped with regular postal service from Ukraine with tracking number. I'll do my best to minimize shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose before shipment(FedEx, UPS, DHL for example). I'm not responsible for delays due to customs, holidays or bad weather.
